Folks, it seems like the network passes will return for the 2012/2013 season. I’m still awaiting all the details from Kirkwood, but check back here shortly! This is going to be the best deal on Kirkwood-only passes without blackouts!!

Folks, as you’ve probably heard, Kirkwood is presently going through an acquisition. Vail Resorts has purchased much of the resort. At this point, it is unclear what this means for the Network Pass program.

The only season pass currently on sale for Kirkwood is the Epic Pass, which gives you access to Northstar, Heavenly and Kirkwood for $419 and up. Keep in mind that this pass does have blackout days. This price is good until April 15th. The hope is that Kirkwood-only passes will be on sale prior to that, possibly including a Network Pass. Please be patient and see what develops. If nothing has been offered by April 15th, I would recommend purchasing the Epic pass, if that is the only alternative. It’s certainly not as attractive as the Network Pass for people who only ski Kirkwood, as it is more expensive and has blackout days, but it is better than not having a pass at all.

Enjoy your season!
